Yesterday, while I was fishing around in a library, I came across this disheartening index in the science section.

  2. I suppose it was “in the stars” for the library.

Totally unrelated comment. One of my wingmates has a jeans 3/4 branded Double Singh. The previous comment seriously reminded me of it 😛

  3. They can’t be blamed, Parseval. Our library follows the Dewey Decimal System and Astrology is classified under it, compelling the librarian to stack books on the subject. Even institutes of the likes of M.I.T. and Oxford have little choice (I assume here that they too have taken to Dewey).
But had I been the librarian, you know, I’d have released a bottle of silverfish in that section.

  4. Sure, but if you haven’t noticed yet, 521 should be theoretical astronomy and not as stated!

  5. Oh! So that was the reason behind the collective sighs.
    Here’s mine: Sigh…
