Firefly

If you’re unlucky enough to share my misfortune of not having coming across this series before, then you just have to watch the 14 episodes of Firefly, which is quite possibly one of the greatest television series of all time.

Words cannot describe how good this series is. Just go watch it.

  1. Don’t feel unlucky — the unlucky ones are those who saw it on the original television broadcast. Fox, in their infinite wisdom, decided to air the episodes out of order.

It made it difficult to follow, but easy to cancel.

Gorram Fox, they’ve done this so often that there’s a TV Trope, the “Firefly Effect,” for when a popular new show gets the chop due to executive idiocy.
